    Z Casinos & Maverick Gaming™ is dedicated to creating the best possible gaming experiences for every kind of player and currently owns and operates a portfolio of 27 properties across Nevada, Washington and Colorado with a total of 1800 slot machines, 350 table games, 1020 hotel rooms and 30 restaurants.
    The Senior Manager on duty will act on behalf of the General Manager and Department Heads in all endeavors while operating the casino. Candidates should be results-driven, with skills in building and leveraging their own as well as others guest service skills.

    How You'll Succeed 
    In this role you will:

    • Follow all company and department policies and procedures.
    • Keep policies and procedures up to date.
    • Provide exemplary guest service
    • Supervise Managers on Duty, including ongoing training, coaching, counseling, and rewarding performance, conducting timely performance appraisals, and completing related paperwork and maintaining team member files and documents in a secure office. 
    • Maintain responsibility for overall operation of the Manager on Duty department.
    • Report as needed to General Manager and Department Heads information related to daily casino operations.
    • Monitor the flow of the floor, ensure that there is proper coverage in all areas.  Redirect team members when needed to ensure proper floor coverage.
    • Manage the various functions of all operations for a regular shift as assigned.  While on duty, ensure that all team members comply at all times with ICMP’s as published by the Division of Gaming and our internal policies.   
    • Oversee overall management of team members on hand for all departments during their shift. Report department-specific issues to the respective department heads. 
    • Within the realm of the responsibility of the job, maintain a clean and safe work environment.  Report cleanliness problems and ensure resolutions.  Perform duties in compliance with safety procedures including use of safety equipment.  Incumbents are responsible for following safety procedures, identifying unsafe practices or conditions and informing their supervisor or the Safety Committee of unsafe conditions, as directed.
    • Act as a resource to team members and patrons when unusual circumstances arise, or when there are safety or security concerns.
    • Act as a verifier for certain slot-related transactions.
    • Ensure guest comfort and ensure that all team members perform their duties in accordance with their position description and service guarantees. Report any issues in the departments to that department head.
    • Act as a liaison with Division of Gaming officials during any interactions with customers and/or team member disputes, etc. 
    • Ensure that all team members follow security policies and procedures and reports all violations. 
    • Flexible scheduling including but not limited to weekends, evening and holidays.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    To be successful in this role, you should have previous Gaming experience and knowledge that includes:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance, or equivalent experience.  
    • Three (3) or more years of recent and related casino experience, preferably in table games or slot operations.  
    • Two (2) or more years of related managerial experience.
    • Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming Key License.
    • Must be 21 years of age or older.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Colorado limited Gaming License.
    • Flexible workweek with possible additional hours required, with minimal notice.
    • Must have a valid Colorado Driver's License, with a good driving record.
    • Ability to work at both Central City and Black Hawk properties.
    • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of casino operations and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, ICMPs, Rules and Regs.
    •  Demonstrate effective and diplomatic customer service and communication skills, which includes contacts with team members, Guests and State of Colorado Gaming and other regulatory officials. 
    • Make recommendations, beyond the scope of essential duties, which may positively or negatively impact the operations of other departments.
    • Demonstrate extensive experience persuading and negotiating.  
    • Demonstrate experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.  
    • Demonstrate experience problem solving, organizing and prioritizing work.  

    PAY: $58,000 - $68,000/year
