    Job Description
    The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations in a 500 plus room casino-hotel. Ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel’s guest rooms, and other assigned areas. Directs and coordinates all functions of the housekeeping and laundry departments by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers or supervisors.
    • Provides training including safety and standard operating procedures to all housekeeping and laundry personnel as directed.
    • Manages a base of up to 100 employees
    • Implements inventory, cost controls, and ensures all fiscal expenses are responsibly managed within their areas.
    • Distributes room keys and daily work assignments to the housekeeping team.
    • Addresses guest complaints regarding housekeeping services.
    • Coordinates and administers all housekeeping programs, processes and projects.
    • Coordinates work schedules to ensure adequate levels of service, and adjusts schedules as needed for business volumes.
    • Inspects and evaluates the physical condition of guest rooms and hotel public spaces to ensure adherence to company standards.
    • All other duties as assigned.
    • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and management.
    • Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English language.
    • Bi-lingual language skills are preferred, but not required.
    • Should possess the ability to develop and train team members.
    • Must be motivated and people-orientated, with a keen eye for attention to detail.
    • Must be able to organize, forecast, multi-task and manage several ongoing projects.
    • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
    • Four (4) or more years of Hotel housekeeping experience is required.
    • Two (2) or more years overseeing a laundry operation is required.
