EGTCThousands of students get hands-on training and complete industry-recognized certificate programs in a variety of fields at Emily Griffith Technical College every year.  The students in EGTC’s Colleges of Business and Technology, Design, Health Sciences or Trades, Technology and Industry represent the most diverse student population among Colorado’s post-secondary institutions so many are bilingual.

Internships offer students the chance to gain practical work experience while completing their related course work and certificate programs.   The Colleges of Business & Technology and Design seek opportunities with Denver employers with immediate and potential staffing needs.

Internships may be paid or unpaid.  If unpaid, EGTC covers worker’s compensation and liability. Students are required to work 70 – 120 hours, depending on their program area.  Some students may elect to work up to one year, especially if they are being paid. Students’ work schedules are determined by the employer and the student.

    Accounting
Administrative Support (general office, medical administrative assistant, receptionist)
